REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At Old Saltys, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase.

This policy is provided in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure
  • A repair, replacement or refund for a minor fault

These rights apply regardless of any stated return period.


Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind, we offer returns within 14 days of:

  • Purchase (in-store), or
  • Delivery (online orders)

To be eligible:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Tags must be attached

Please note:

  • Return shipping is at your expense
  • Original shipping costs are not refunded

Exchanges

We’re happy to exchange items for a different size or style, subject to availability.

Items must be:

  • Unworn and unwashed
  • In original condition with tags attached

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • We will cover return shipping
  • You may choose a refund, replacement, or repair depending on the issue

Please contact us as soon as possible with photos so we can resolve it quickly.


How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us via our website with your order number and reason for return
  2. We’ll provide return instructions
  3. Send your item back securely

We recommend using tracked postage, as items remain your responsibility until received.


Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Digital downloads or printables
  • Final sale items
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
